prophetic dream?

So was that a prophetic dream I had? Who should I ask? Am I supposed to go through surgery, after all? God, PLEASE guide me. I'm feeling very unguided in most areas of my life lately, and I'm truly trying to do your will. Including my professional life. God, please give me discernment. I am trying so hard to listen to you.

my ovaries are 'exceptional' learners! A+ for effort!

so, it appears that i ovulated yesterday. yay! i'm dead last in the ovulation olympics, but that's ok! i'm a special learner!

i phoned my RE's office today to ask about the lap/hyst i'm supposed to have on monday. the RE said that he can't advise me one way or the other because scientific evidence can't confirm that the procedures would hurt an implanting embryo. they said it was up to me.

i decided that it's not worth the risk. not after so many years of waiting.

so, i'll have to get another referral. hopefully, barring a bfp, i'll get a new surgery date for june, if not july. that'll push our injectable plan further into the future. again, barring a bfp (please, God). although, as we all know, ttc HAS NO CALENDAR!!!!!! pardon the sexist language, but this quotation is SO true: "Man plans; God laughs." i am learning to accept this and, yes, to even welcome it.

surgery schemes and pregnancy dreams

I'm scheduled for a laparoscopy and a hysteroscopy next week.

The RE gave up on this cycle - for which I was on 150 mg Clomid - because there was nothing happening. I mean, as of yesterday, I was on CD35, with no o in sight. This is not an unusual occurrence for a woman with PCOS, obviously, but really, we just decided to forget about it until the end of May.

However, it appears that I am o'ing right now - I got a + opk, distinct o pain, and ewcm. And we bd'd at the right time. I am praying that my stubborn ovaries will release whatever it is that they NEED TO STOP CLINGING TO!!

So now what? Is the surgery safe for someone who will be around 7 or 8 dpo? Should I call the RE's office to ask? I don't know what to do.

You know what's cool, though? I dreamed last Friday night that I was in an operation; later in the same dream, I saw the ultrasound of a baby, and for some reason, the person I was talking to in the dream exclaimed that the baby had made it through the operation and it was fine.

Could it be a prophetic dream? God has shown me things through dreams before. I am just praying for discernment right now, because if this is not from God, I don't want to put my faith in it. However, if it is . . .

PHRASES WE ARE TIRED OF HEARING!

Things that people would NEVER say to a parapalegic but they
DO say similar things to people trying to conceive.

As soon as you buy a wheelchair I bet you will walk again.

My cousin is paralyzed, but she started shaving her legs in the other direction and she could walk again. You should try that.

I guess God just didn't mean for you to be able to walk.

Oh, I know exactly how you feel. I have an ingrown toenail.

Boy, I wish I were paralyzed. I get so tired of walking, if I were paralyzed I wouldn't have to walk anywhere.

Sorry, we don't cover that treatment because it isn't a life threatening illness.

You're so lucky...Think of the money you save on shoes!

I hope you don't go on those anti-paralysis drugs. They sometimes make people run too fast and they get hurt.

Look at those people hiking...doesn't that make you want to hike?

Do you want to rub my legs? That might help you walk and give you luck.

Take a vacation and you'll walk!

I just ran a marathon and won. Let me tell you all about it and show you my medal and tell you how much everyone is doting on me.

You are just too worried about walking, it's all in your head!!

If you stop thinking about it so much, it will happen.
